Pam is one-of-a-kind. Her passion for serving our residents was very evident, as she always ensured they had fun things to do that were both entertaining and challenging.

Therapeutic recreation is vital in senior living communities, enhancing residents` quality of life by promoting physical, cognitive, and emotional wellness. Activities, like beading, help support health and community bonds. We just love watching the creative juices flow!

A huge thank you the team at Alexandria Area High School for putting together an amazing job fair for our AAHS seniors. Jess attended the job fair last week to talk about all of the opportunities we have here at Bethany. Whether these students are looking for part-time or full-time positions, we strive to be as accommodating and flexible as possible. We also provide scholarships and tuition reimbursement!

Our residents from Pelican Bay, our secure assisted living memory care facility, went on quite the adventure last Friday to a not-so-hidden gem in Alexandria, the Runestone Museum. Our residents just love seeing all of the artifacts and learning about the history of Alexandria. Oh, and let`s not forget about the dress up closet...it could be safe to say someone had a little too much fun. 😉 Just kidding, you can never have too much fun!

Valentine`s Day is a special occasion where we, as caregivers, get to express our deep appreciation for the residents we care for every day. It`s a time to reflect on the unique bond we share with them and the trust their families place in us. This day offers us the perfect opportunity to extend our heartfelt thanks to those who have entrusted us with the care of their loved ones.
We are deeply grateful to be part of their lives, providing comfort, support, and love in our facility. It is a privilege to be able to contribute to their wellbeing and to celebrate the love and joy they bring into our lives. Happy Valentine`s Day! 🩷🩷
